I just wanted to take a minute to give you some 411 about what's going on with CLC. As you know, I took an Assistant Teacher position with Florence County's Christian Learning Center this fall. I have been having a BLAST!! I love middle schoolers, studying the Bible, and sharing the love of Jesus... So what could be better than to combine them all in one "job"??
I could go on and on, but let's cut to the chase...without further ado, here's what I want to share:
1) Did you know that CLC has a website now?? Check it out, and add it to your favorites, so that you can keep up with what's going on. There's never a dull moment... I promise!! :-)
2) THIS THURSDAY (November 18) CLC is holding a Chicken Bog Fundraiser to benefit the program. We currently have classes at all three middle schools here in Florence and at Hannah Pamplico. We'd love to spread out (up??) into the High Schools, but this takes DINERO! Since we are a Non-Profit organization, we depend soley on donor support. Here's your chance to order some yummy viddles (ahem, this means NO COOKING on Thursday, Moms!!) AND support an awesome ministry!!
3) Check out our COOL T-SHIRTS!! One of our very own students designed the logo, and yes!! They are for sale!! We'd love to spread the word by having as many people wearing them as possible!! Again, another great way to support CLC and what it's doing in the lives of middle schoolers in Florence!
