Friday Five

Been a while since I’ve posted one of these, so I thought I’d better get back to it! ;-)

1. I am meeting my sweet friend, Lori, for coffee this morning. Been keeping up w/ her via blogs and Twitter, but I’m thrilled to be able to get some “face time”.  Looking forward to getting to know her better; she’s such an inspiration!
2. Starting a new book today.  A couple of friends and I are reading She’s Gonna Blow together, and from what I’ve seen on Brandi’s blog, I am looking forward to the challenge and encouragement. This Mama needs all the help she can get! ;-)
3. Speaking of books, our first Catalyst Filter Aqua Box came in the mail yesterday.  It came with a copy of Mad Church Disease and a bunch of other cool stuff (books, magazines, CDs etc...) .  Too sweet!! It was like getting to celebrate Christmas in March! ;-)
4. Loving Kari Jobe!! (Hers was one of the CDs we received yesterday in our “Christmas box”.)  I recently blogged a video of her “I’m Singing” project, but the songs I love the best on this CD are “Sweep Me Away” and “Revelation Song”.
5. Radio Free Florence is hosting my young friend Tyler Edwards, and his band I Anthem, for a benefit concert tonight.  Everyone should come on and check it out!  God’s all over this young man, and it’s a great cause… so everybody wins! (Go here for details.)
