Throw Up Ya Rawk Fist, If Ya Feelin' Me When I Drop This!!

You gotta love TFK! (Just for the record, my KISA will be grinning from ear to ear when he reads that title!) :-)

So why the head-bangin' Christian Rock Band opener for my Thankful Thursday post this week?? I just feel like PRAISIN' HARDCORE today!!

Yes, it has been a wild week...and there's another one coming right behind it!  But God is GOOD, so here are a few things that I am most thankful for ...

1. I am thankful that my van is NOT totaled!! The mechanic called on Tuesday to let me know that the damage was not as bad as first estimated, and that the insurance company had given him the go-ahead to make the necessary repairs. This was a huge relief!! And yes, in the mean time, I'm still thankful that I get to ride around in the Caddy! ;-)

2. I am thankful that we passed our assessment with the SCBC Church Multiplication program!! WHOO HOO!!!! While there are still several areas in which we need to improve and grow, our over all score made the cut! This was a HUGE answer to prayer, and I am so excited about what God is going to do in and through us in the weeks and months to come! I am so proud of my KISA, he has already grown so much through this process, and I know that God has BIG plans for his life!!

3. I am thankful for my Bible Study this morning which focused on the "Mighty One who has done great things" (Luke 1:49). Mary's Song inspired me to lift my voice in praise to my Jesus, who has rescued me, redeemed me, restored me, and is molding me like clay in His hands. I cranked up one of my tracks and sang to the top of my lungs!! "Here in the power of Christ I stand!!"

4. I am thankful for loving family members and friends who have emailed and called this week to let us know they are praying for us. We covet those prayers so passionately right now. We have cleared some major hurdles, but there are still more to cross, and we cannot do it on our own. We need PRAYER WARRIORS!! Chris issued an invitation of sorts to all who would like to  partner with us on our journey, by agreeing to pray for us along the way. If you'd like to join in, please comment this post. 5. Speaking of staying tuned...I am also thankful for some exciting news that is forth coming. Some of it is still in the works, so we cannot let the cat out of the bag too quickly, but get ready for another announcement, or two, in the next couple of weeks. (Yeah Tammi, I know...the cruelty never ends...)

God is SO GOOD (did I say that already??), and He NEVER CEASES to AMAZE ME!!
